This unit is no more. Was cut up in Waterville, Maine. Nice picture on the Saco Industrial Track.

Woops, pardon me, I take that back, I guess it's the spur to Spencer Press or Shaw's. Suffering from a little wheel slip.

Yup, that is the spur into the Wells Industrial Park (home of Spencer Press, Shaws Distribution Center, and UPS). Too bad that it was scrapped, and somewhat surprising -- they've been rebuilding/overhauling a lot of GP40s in recent years. I'm glad I got a few good shots of it while it was healthy and looking good.

It looked great. Not sure why they decided to scrap it. Contrasts nicely against all that snow.

Absolutelly splendid photo! Great shot on the pinetree route! I love the snow-covered trees; the snow makes everything in this photo. Maine is such a beautiful state! I love it there, but it's been quite awhile since I've been there...What a wonderful photo! Seen on the homepage! :)
